Expert Talk on iOS Development with Swift & SwiftUI at Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli (UTU)
Today was special. I had the opportunity to step into Uka Tarsadia University and spend 90 powerful minutes with some of the brightest young minds — talking all things iOS Development. As COO of Lynx Softech, giving back to the tech community through knowledge sharing is something I deeply value. Today's Expert Talk was a reminder of how hungry this generation is to learn and build. 🚀
🎯 BRIDGING ACADEMIA & INDUSTRY:
What made this session unique was its focus on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, industry-ready skills. Students didn't just learn "what" - they learned "why" and "how" from a professional iOS development perspective.
Topics like:
→ Why structs are preferred over classes in SwiftUI
→ How Combine makes asynchronous code readable
→ Why NavigationStack replaced NavigationView in iOS 16
→ When to use @StateObject vs @ObservedObject (the #1 interview question)
→ How to avoid retain cycles with weak/unowned references
→ Why type-safe navigation matters for deep linking
These insights go beyond the syllabus and directly address what students will face in job interviews and real projects.
Thank you to SRIMCA UTU to provide me a great opportunity to share knowledge with young minds, Also thanks to all participants for your engagement and curiosity! Keep building, keep learning, and remember - every successful iOS app started with someone just like you taking the first step. 🚀
The best way to learn iOS development? Build something and publish it on the App Store. We're excited to see what our students create next!
